The main goals of our program revolve around the YMCA 4 core values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility. In addition our goal is achieve over – all physical fitness for all of our members in and out of the pool. Our training involve many basic exercises that help fight the on-going nation wide issue of childhood obesity. We are also following many of the standards that the “Alliance For a Healthier Generation” recommend as well as standards and principles of USA Swimming for fitness and nutrition.
The Piranhas are supported by a strong parents’ organization, which organize meets, team functions, help raise funds to send swimmers to nationals, supply equipment, organizes our team banquet and recognizes swimmers efforts at the end of the season with a team gift.
