2013 Take Your Mark Swim Team Practice Group

All Practice Times and Groups and time requirements are subject to change as well as pool closings such as thunder storms.

Practice Group Goals & Age Group Guidelines

Take Your Mark - (TYM) - (AGES 12 & Under) (Ages may differ due to performance)
Practice is 95% focused on proper swimming technique through performing drills, balance and comfort in water exercises, turns and starts. 5% is focused training sets. Most of the training is focused on kicking and kicking drills. There is no meet requirements or team expectations.

Performance Requirements: Take Your Mark Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards of free (front crawl stroke) with rotary breathing & 25 yards on their back.

Swimming Lesson Requirements: Swimmers should have completed Minnow or Shark Lesson Levels.
FLOATATION DEVICES ARE NOT PERMITTED

Primarily ages 12 & Under
Practice Attendance Goals: 1 - 2 times a week (1.5 hours of Practice time if attend 2 days a week)
Required Practice Equipment: Positive Drive Training Fins, Pull Buoy

Practice groups are subject to change due to swimmers ability level.  If a swimmer is unable to attend the assigned practice group contact Coach Mike as soon as possible to request a practice group change.  If it is possible you will be assigned a new group.
